How does Anti-Reflective (AR) technology work?
Light comes from every direction, causing reflections on the front and back of a lens. Reflections affect how the wearer looks and how they see. AR technology allows wanted light to enter the lens, providing visual comfort and clarity while eliminating reflections and reducing glare.

How have Crizal Sun technology and Sunwear been combined to provide optimized vision in all sun conditions?
Crizal Sun technology applies the light-penetrating features of AR technology to the backside of the lens while maintaining the light-blocking features of sunglasses on the front side.
Crizal Sun lenses were designed specifically to meet the needs of Sunwear lenses, making it the 1st integrated Anti-Reflective for Sunwear (ARS).

How has Crizal Sun technology improved scratch protection and ease of cleaning?
Crizal Sun technology integrates the same industry-leading Crizal® Alizé® technology which includes the double-sided scratch resistant hard coat and super-hydrophobic topcoat in both sides of the lens.  The scratch resistant layer is composed of a flexible polymer matrix with glass-like silica particles that yield a hard, yet flexible hard coat.   The super-hydrophobic layer creates a slippery surface that reduces the adhesion of grease, dirt, smudges and water.

What types of lenses are available with Crizal Sun?
Crizal Sun lenses availability includes Clear, Polarized and Transitions® lenses as well as various levels of Tints (see Table 1)
