Sunglasses with the Unique Crizal Sun™ Anti-Reflective (AR) Technology

Sunglasses without AR Technology

For a person wearing glasses, reflections are an annoyance that interfere with vision and create discomfort, leading to eyestrain.   In Sunwear lenses, the effects of backside reflections are particularly uncomfortable because they are worn in bright environments where reflective surfaces such as water, snow, sand and pavement are often present.  The wearer’s vision is hindered by backside glare, causing the eye to adjust between undesirable light and useful light. In addition, sunglasses are worn outside, bearing all the elements and are often not protected by a glasses case when not in use.  This results in dirt, smudges and scratches because the lens is not protected.
